HOUSTON – Most neighborhoods in the Houston area will be above freezing Tuesday morning, and experience a sunny afternoon under clear skies, KHOU 11 News Chief Meteorologist David Paul said.
Tuesday morning temps will be in the upper-30s under clear skies and there is a forecast high of 67 degrees.
Despite the chilly mornings, highs are expected to continue to warm up to the mid- to low- 60s in the afternoon and a warming trend will kick in over the next couple of days, reaching the 70s by Wednesday.
The skies will be sunny and clear until Friday when a 40-percent chance for rain creeps into the forecast.
A cold front scheduled to arrive next weekend could make for some chilly weather for the holiday week.
