HOUSTON — The soggy weather continued Sunday morning as heavy rains moved through the Houston area as part of a frontal boundary, according to KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Mario Gomez.

That front moved in early this morning leaving us with temperatures in the 60s all day. The showers will linger before clearing out by the evening.

The muggy weather will be replaced with much cooler weather. Expect to see overnight lows dip down into the 30s Sunday night.

There is a Wind Advisory in effect until 9 p.m. today because of the cold front.

The cooler temps will stick around for the St. Patrick’s Day holiday before warming back up to the mid-70s on Tuesday.
