HOUSTON –- Some parts of the Houston area will experience a little mist early Thursday, but KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Mario Gomez says the sunshine will return with the arrival of a cool front.
“It’s going to be a very cloudy start to the day,” said Gomez. “South of I-10, you may run into a little bit of a misty fog during your drive into work. A cool front later today will bring us a few breaks in the clouds.”
The clouds stick around Friday and Saturday with temps in the 40s in the early morning and daytime highs in the low-60s.
On Sunday, the skies clear for the start of our next workweek.
New Year’s Eve is looking clear, which means weather won’t get in the way of Houston-area fireworks shows.
