HOUSTON – Pleasant weather will continue through Wednesday before humidity makes a return to the Houston area for the weekend.
Early this morning we bottomed out around 50 to 60 degrees across much of the Houston area. This afternoon we'll top out around 85 degrees under mostly sunny skies.
Thursday and Friday will be even warmer as humidity makes a comeback, increasing rain chances for next week.
“Warming weather over the next 48 hours and then we look to the north because with a muggy late week, a cold front will start pushing toward us and that will produce isolated thunderstorms for Saturday, Sunday Monday and even into Tuesday,” KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Brooks Garner said.
This weekend a chance for scattered rain returns as temps top out near 90 degrees.
