HOUSTON – Clear skies returned to Houston on Monday afternoon, making way for cooler temperatures on Tuesday, said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson.
"We're going to see decreasing cloud coverage throughout the day," said Johnson. "By this afternoon you're going to see mostly sunny skies."
Monday morning started in the 50s, but starting Tuesday early morning temps will be in the 40s.
Our afternoon highs will remain on the cool side the rest of this week, in the 60s and 70s. A chance for rain returns this weekend.
