HOUSTON – Grab a jacket or a heavy sweater if you plan to head out Thursday evening as the unusually cold weather continues this week, said KHOU 11 Chief Meteorologist David Paul.
Thursday’s temperatures were about 20 degrees below normal with highs in the 50s for most of the area.
This evening, expect to see temperatures in the mid-40s as the clouds slowly clear the area.
We will have more sun on Friday with morning temperatures in the lower-40s and daytime temps in the low-70s.
Saturday and Sunday will be closer to 80 degrees.
By the end of the weekend more clouds will move in as a new chance for rain is introduced for the start of the work week.
