HOUSTON – After a windy start to the weekend, expect to see clear skies and colder temps Sunday, according to KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Mario Gomez.
There is a wind advisory for the Houston area until late Saturday evening with some wind gusts reaching 30 mph.
Temps will start off in the mid-30s Sunday before warming up to the mid-50s. However, the wind chill will make it feel like it is still in the 30s.
A warming trend is on the way as temps break into the 60s for the start of the work week. By Wednesday, they should reach the 70s.
We will still feel chilly temps in the evening with lows in the 30s for the next few days.
