HOUSTON -- Friday morning will be cold in the Houston area as more rain approaches, according to KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson.
"As you head out the door this morning we are only dealing with cloudy skies -- we are dry," said Johnson. "We have showers all throughout Central Texas moving eastward, so that will increase our rain chances later today."
We'll top out in the upper-50s this afternoon with a 60-percent chance for rain.
Saturday the rain chance decreases to 20 percent, and by Sunday it goes away entirely.
Next week will be a little warmer with daytime temperatures in the low-60s and overnight lows in the upper-30s and low-40s.
