HOUSTON — A mix of sun and clouds, coupled with cool temps will remain with us over the next several days, according to KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Mario Gomez.
Friday morning temps kicked off in the mid-40s. This afternoon we will top off around 60 degrees with overnight lows in the low-40s.
A few showers moved in off the coast in the early morning hours, but the rain isn’t expected to come very far inland. There’s a 20-percent chance for rain today and a 10-percent chance Saturday.
The sun returns Sunday, and on Monday the daytime temperatures drop by about 10 degrees. Our early-morning temperatures next week will be in the low- to mid-30s.
New Year’s Eve is looking clear, which means weather won’t get in the way of Houston-area fireworks shows.
