HOUSTON – Grab a jacket on your way out Friday evening as temperatures are expected to drop into the low-40s as the weekend gets off to a chilly start, KHOU 11 News Chief Meteorologist said.
There may also be some light rain this evening for some communities in the viewing area. Overnight lows will dip into the mid-30s with highs reaching the mid-50s on Saturday afternoon.
Be on the lookout for a possible freeze warning for Sunday morning.
By Monday our daytime temps will be back in the low-70s with another cool down expected mid-next week.
