HOUSTON -- The Houston area won't warm up much Wednesday evening, but changes are on the way Thursday, according to KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Brooks Garner.
There will be a hard freeze in Montgomery, San Jacincto and Polk Counties Wednesday from midnight to 9 a.m.
Thursday’s forecast calls for another chilly start to the day with a daytime high around 60 degrees.
On Friday afternoon we’ll get into the 70s as a few clouds return.
"We can't rule out a sprinkle as we start the day off Friday," said Garner. "It will be noticeably warmer as we head into the weekend."
There’s a slight chance for rain this weekend as daytime temps drop from the 70s to the 60s for the start of our next workweek.
Next week our overnight lows will be in the low-50s and our afternoon highs will be in the mid-60s.
