HOUSTON – The beautiful weekend weather is expected to continue Sunday, with chances for rain returning to the forecast at the beginning of next week, KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Mario Gomez said.
Saturday morning temperatures kicked off in the upper-60s to lower-70s and highs topped off around 94 degrees.
Highs will remain in the mid-90s on Sunday, but will drop a few degrees at the beginning of next week with a 40- to 50-percent chance for rain on Monday and Tuesday.
In the Atlantic, Tropical Storm Erin is fluctuating in strength and is not very well organized. Gomez said it is basically no threat to land.
