HOUSTON—The balmy weather is back in a big way as the weather warms up and the rain moves in Friday, but the weekend will be sunny and clear, according to KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Mario Gomez
“The air is so balmy, it’s holding a lot of moisture, especially to the southwest,” Gomez said.
Friday morning kicked off with temps in the 60 degrees and afternoon highs are expected to top off around 72 degrees.
There’s a 30-percent chance for today, but those chances decrease as the weekend gets underway.
Saturday will see lows in the 50s and highs in the upper-60s with clear skies. The sun will also be shining brightly on Sunday with lows in the 40s and highs in the low-70s. After that, temps will begin to dip again.
Overnight lows early next week will return to the 30s and 40s, and daytime temperatures will be in the mid-60s.
