HOUSTON – Wednesday afternoon will be breezy and warm in the Houston area, according to KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson.
“Even though the winds started out calm this morning, I’m expecting them to pick up to about 15 mph this afternoon,” said Johnson. “We’re still looking at more sunshine later today compared to how we started out the day, which will warm us up pretty quickly.”
Temperatures early this morning were in the upper-60s across town. Wednesday afternoon we will top out around 87 degrees.
There are no big changes in the weather pattern all the way through the weekend -- muggy overnight hours with hot and humid afternoons.
On Memorial Day a few clouds return along with a slight chance for scattered rain.
