HOUSTON – If you plan on heading out Friday evening, make sure to bring a jacket along as it will be another cool night, according to KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Mario Gomez.
After temperatures peaked in the mid- to upper-70s this afternoon, overnight lows will be in the mid-50s for most of the Houston area.
Come Saturday, a few clouds move back into the forecast along with a slight chance for rain. A shift in winds will bring in warmth from the southeast. Expect to see highs in the upper-70s this weekend.
The chance for rain jumps to 50 percent on Sunday with scattered showers and then decreases for the start of your workweek.
In the seven-day forecast, overnight temps stay in the 50s and 60s and daytime temps stay in the low-80s.
We could see some chilly temps for the Halloween holiday with highs in the low-60s and lows in the upper-40s.
