HOUSTON – Houston tied a record Monday morning with a low of 47, and could possibly break another as Friday is expected to be an unusually chilly evening, KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Mario Gomez said.
Temperatures could get as low 43 degrees overnight, which would break the record of 44 set in 1978. Friday afternoon will continue to be sunny, but cool as northerly winds keep temperature in the mid-60s.
Looking ahead to the weekend, lows Saturday morning will be in the low-40s.
High temperature Saturday and Sunday will be in the mid-70s with plenty of sunshine. You will wake up to temperatures in the 50s Sunday morning.
