HOUSTON –- Police were investigating a violent home invasion in far southwest Houston early Tuesday.
According to officers with the Houston Police Department, the crime was reported around 4 a.m. at the Woodland Estates community on Anderson Road.
During the robbery, police said one of the suspects pistol-whipped a father and tied up a mother. A 20-year-old daughter was not harmed.
The victims told police the suspects forced their way in and ransacked the house before taking cash and a TV. The suspects got away in the victim’s Toyota Rav-4 SUV.
A detailed description of the gunmen wasn’t immediately available.
