SUGAR LAND, Texas – Heavy rains and hail are to blame for causing the roof of a Texaco gas station to collapse Saturday evening in Fort Bend County.

The owner and several customers were inside the gas station located near the intersection of Dulles Avenue and Lexington Boulevard when they noticed that the ceiling was starting to sink. Everyone evacuated the store, and the owner called 911.

As the owner of the gas station was talking to 911 operators over the phone, the roof completely caved in under the weight of the water and hail.

Luckily no one was inside, and no injuries were reported.
