HUMBLE, Texas—Friends and family gathered Friday to say goodbye to a Harris County jailer who was killed by a suspected drunk driver.

Gregory Hundl, who was also a volunteer firefighter in Atascocita, was remembered during funeral services at the First Assembly of God Church in Humble.

Police say Officer Hundl was heading home on his motorcycle last week, stopped at a red light on the Highway 59 feeder, when a 19-year-old driver struck him with her SUV.

The woman has since been charged with intoxication manslaughter.
