MANVEL, Texas – Do you remember the high school junior from Manvel who wowed the world with his amazing pass and catch to himself?

Well, life for Gary Haynes has changed after his Vine video went viral.

The video of Haynes catching the 40-yard pass amazed his football coaches at Manvel, and overnight the wide receiver’s story had gone national. He flew to New York to make the rounds on morning TV shows, and before he knew it, his idol Deion Sanders was handing him tickets to the 2014 NFL Draft.

“Seeing Deion come out and actually shake my hand,” said Haynes. “It was a great experience.”

Colleges are now flipping for the 17-year-old. The recruiters keep coming, including the University of Louisiana-Lafayette and Tuskegee.

“I think I’m ready for it,” said Haynes.
