HOUSTON – Investigators say a man found dead in Brays Bayou on Monday night may be the victim of a hit-and-run.
According to the Houston Police Department, it was around 8 p.m. when two men fishing near Harrisburg Boulevard found the man’s body.
A police investigation revealed that the man, 40, was last heard from late Sunday night. A friend told police he was talking with the victim by phone as he biked home from work.
Police said it looked like the man was hit by a passing vehicle, and his body flew into the water near the bridge where Harrisburg turns into Broadway Street.
The investigation is on-going.
