HOUSTON – A woman was sent to the hospital with minor injuries after her vehicle was struck by a police car responding to a crime, police said early Monday.
The crash happened in the southbound lanes of Antoine near the Northwest Freeway, according to the Houston Police Department.
Police said it was just after 1 a.m. the officer was responding to help another officer with a possible wanted suspect when he lost control and hit the passenger side of a car. The vehicle’s female driver was sent to the hospital with minor injuries.
HPD said the officer was not hurt.
