HOUSTON – Houston police searched overnight for a man who shot three people outside his southeast side apartment.

Officers with the Houston Police Department said the shooting occurred around 2 a.m. Friday on Broadway Street near Morley Street.

Witnesses said two neighbors, a man and a woman, got into a fight. Each went back to their apartments, but the female soon returned after getting her boyfriend and her brother.

Police said the male neighbor refused to come outside, so the woman’s boyfriend broke a window. The suspect then got his gun and shot all three people.

Police said the woman was shot three times, and one of the bullets struck her in the back. Her boyfriend and brother were each shot once.

The suspect then fled the scene with the gun in hand, police said.

The victims were seriously injured but were reportedly in stable condition at the hospital.
