HOUSTON – An unruly teenager scared passengers on a Southwest Airlines jet earlier Tuesday afternoon at Hobby Airport, police said.

According to the Houston Police Department, it happened on a flight from Albuquerque, N.M. headed to Hobby Airport around 1 p.m.

Police said a 16-year-old boy refused to take off his headphones as the plane was landing. He cursed at a flight attendant, who then went to the captain.

Officers escorted the teenager off the plane, but said that he would not face charges.
