HOUSTON – A homeowner shot and killed an armed man who was trying to break into an apartment in southwest Houston Thursday, according to Houston police.
Police said two men, with guns drawn, tried to force their way into an apartment on Oakmoor at Airport Blvd. around 8:45 p.m.
Two people were inside the apartment and one of them had a gun.
The homeowner opened fire and shot one of the suspects. That suspect died in front of the apartment.
The other suspect fled the scene on foot.
