HOUSTON – Houston police are searching for several suspects who robbed and shot a convenience store clerk in north Houston late Tuesday.
Police said two or three armed suspects wearing ski masks entered the store in the 1700 block of Berry at Burden around 10:30 p.m.
They pulled a gun on the clerk and shot him once in the leg. The suspects then took the cash register and fled on foot, according to police.
HPD set up a perimeter and searched the area with K-9 units, but the suspects could not be located.
The injured clerk was transported to Ben Taub Hospital in stable condition.
