HOUSTON – Firefighters are trying to figure out what started a house fire early Saturday in northwest Houston that sent one man to the hospital.

According to the Houston Fire Department, it happened at 12:45 a.m. at a home on Larston at Windover.

Firefighters said the fire started in the attic and that made it difficult to get to.

Fire officials said two men were inside at the time. One was taken to Memorial City Hermann Hospital to be treated for inhaling smoke and minor burns.

He’s in stable condition.
