HOUSTON—Investigators believe a generator caused a fire at a Houston home Wednesday night.
It happened around 9:45 p.m. at Pecos and Billings.
HFD crews arrived in time to keep the flames from spreading from a detached garage to the main house.
Firefighters said a generator in the garage apparently had a small leak.
It was located next to a hot water heater, which ignited the gas, starting the fire.
No injuries were reported.
