HOUSTON – Harris County Sheriff’s deputies responded to an officer-involved shooting Wednesday in northeast Harris County.
It happened around 5 p.m. in the 17000 block of Scuttle Way.
A neighbor, who lives three houses down, reported hearing three gunshots.
Deputies were doing a welfare check when they realized the man had a warrant. He bolted out the door and they chased him.
The suspect pointed a gun at them and the deputies opened fire on him.
The man was shot and in critical condition.
