HOUSTON—An intoxicated man running in the street was seriously injured after he ran into a moving pickup truck Wednesday night, according to Harris County Sheriff’s deputies.
Two men were trying to run across Cypress North Houston at Telge around 8:40 p.m., according to deputies.
The man in the front did not a see a dark-colored pickup truck driving down the street and actually ran right into the side of it.
The pedestrian sustained a head and leg injury. He was airlifted to Memorial Hermann Hospital in serious, but stable condition.
The pickup truck driver will not face any charges.
