HOUSTON – Several people were injured after a red-light runner caused a multi-vehicle crash in northwest Harris County Monday night, according to Harris County Sheriff’s deputies.
A pickup truck was traveling eastbound on FM 529 around 11:15 p.m. when the driver ran a red light and crashed into two vehicles traveling northbound on Greenhouse, then a Jeep waiting in a turning lane.
Emergency responders with the Cy-Fair Fire Department had to extract three people trapped in one of the vehicles.
Four adults involved in the crash were transported to the hospital in stable condition.
The pickup truck driver was cited for the crash.
