SPRING, Texas –The pickup truck driver who plowed into a group of people outside of a north Harris County nightclub early Saturday has been charged with murder.

Harris County Sheriff’s deputies said Tito Estrada Juarez was at the Big Texas Dance Hall & Saloon, located in the 19900 block of Holzwarth Road and Meadow Wedge, when he got into an argument with a group of men in the parking lot around 2:30 a.m.

A witness said Juarez placed his black Ford F-150 in reverse, backed up about 40 feet, then “gunned it” and struck four people.

One woman, Alexandria Rodriguez, died at the scene while the other three were rushed to local hospitals. A man and woman were taken to Memorial Hermann Hospital in serious, but stable condition. Another woman was taken to Ben Taub Hospital in stable condition.

Juarez turned 27 years old two days before the fatality.
