HOUSTON – A burglary suspect who was loaded with possibly a little more than he could carry was nabbed by K-9 officers after breaking into a bank in northwest Harris County early Thursday, according to investigators.
Harris County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a burglary alarm at Amegy Bank, located in the 17000 block of Stuebner Airline at Oakwood Glen, around 1:30 a.m. and found the back glass door has been busted out.
A K-9 unit tracked the suspect to a nearby bayou, where he was trying to make it to his vehicle located on the opposite side.
Deputies said it appears the suspect took whatever he could get his hands on from the bank; flat screen televisions, projectors and other electronic items. It was not known if he managed to get any cash.
