HUMBLE, TX - Grace Church of Humble encouraged their members to give back to the community and they did it in a very unique way -- by paying it forward.
They kicked off the Need 2 Seed Project this weekend by asking the question, “What is your view of money; need, greed or seed?”
A large number of attendees were given envelopes containing anywhere from $6 to $500 in $2 bills. The pastoral team then challenged its adult membership to loosen their grip, help stimulate the economy and seed their gift money to someone else.
They were then asked to report back to the project’s Web site to write their story of giving.
