HOUSTON—A 24-year-old exotic dancer who set up and robbed a customer she met at a strip club in July is off the streets after committing another violent crime earlier this month.
Amber Lynn Garcia was charged with two counts of aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon.
In the first case, Garcia met a man at Glamour Girls strip club and the two became friends, or so he thought, according to investigators. The two would text each other and the man even visited her home once, but did not go inside.
On July 20, the man went back to Garcia’s apartment and was waiting for her in his car. When she approached the vehicle, two men caught him by surprise.
Investigators said one of the suspects pointed a rifle through the driver’s side window and demanded cash. That suspect also made the victim take off his pants.
The other male suspect hit the victim in the head with a metal wrench and punched him in the mouth.
Garcia got into a black truck with the two suspects after the robbery and assaulted the victim, then fled the scene, according to police.
The victim was able to pick Garcia out of a photo lineup and charges were filed. Garcia’s bond was set at $30,000.
Then on September 4, Garcia allegedly used a tire tool to rob a woman. Once again, she was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon again.
Garcia was arrested on September 5 and, this time, was given no bond.
