HOUSTON -- Houston firefighters were called to a home on the southwest side of town after a fire started in a garage.
It was reported around 10 p.m. Thursday on Mullins Drive at Dumfries Drive , according to the Houston Fire Department.
Firefighters said the garage was detached from the home, limiting the extent of the damage. Some small explosions were reported during the blaze, which turned out to be gas canisters inside the garage.
Investigators said the cause of the fire was not immediately determined. No injuries were reported.
