FRIENDSWOOD — An investigation of possible child exploitation led authorities Thursday to arrest a Friendswood man on charges that accused him of paying teenage girls for sex.

Bond for Michael Wayne McIntosh, 62, was set at $120,000 on three counts of sexual assault of a child, following his 8:44 a.m. arrest at his Friendswood home in the 600 block of Idlewood Drive, Friendswood police said.

Webster police, with the assistance of Friendswood officers, corresponded with the Clear Creek Independent School District about a child exploitation case involving a man known as “Money Mike.” Authorities identified that man as McIntosh, according to a statement from Webster police.

McIntosh was accused of having sex with girls from 14 to 16 years old at his home, Galveston County Assistant District Attorney Adam Poole said. No charges were filed against the victims, and the investigation was still ongoing Thursday, he said.
