HOUSTON -- Houston arson investigators overnight Thursday worked to determine what may have caused a house fire that shot flames from a child’s bedroom.
The family inside the home, including two small children, was able to make it out safely, according to the Houston Fire Department.
HFD said the fire was reported around 9 p.m. on Calhoun Road at Idaho Street.
Firefighters were able to put it out before the flames spread to the rest of the home.
