HOUSTON—A fish store in southwest Houston caught fire for the second day in a row and investigators were trying to figure out if the fires were intentionally set.
The fire broke out at the Fish Ranch Store on Larkwood Drive at the Southwest Freeway around 1 a.m. Thursday.
Firefighters immediately went on the defensive and made a fast attack after arriving to find smoke and flames coming from the building. They managed to extinguish the flames quickly, but one firefighter had to be treated for heat exhaustion at the scene.
Not less than 24 hours before this fire broke out, firefighters had to put out another fire at the same business.
No animals were harmed.
Arson is investigating.
