HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – A two-story home was destroyed Tuesday after it caught fire around 6:30 a.m., according to the Cy-Fair Volunteer Fire Department.

The fire was reported in the 8300-block of Apothecary Lane.

The Jersey Village Fire Department responded to the 911 call along with Cy-Fair, but it was too late.

Aerial views from Air 11 showed heavy damage to the home.

The Harris County Fire Marshal’s Office said the homeowner had just left work, and no one was home at the time.

No injuries were reported.

It’s not yet known what caused the fire.
