HOUSTON -- A delegation is scheduled to arrive in the country Monday to determine if the United States can host an upcoming FIFA World Cup.

The group is considering 18 cities in the U.S. to host the 2018 or 2022 games.

However, during the trip the group will only visit five of the cities, including Houston.

Officials at Reliant Stadium said they have a lot riding on the meeting, because the exposure could really pay off.

"One of the benefits is it not only brings your community nationally but also internationally, and in addition to that the economic impact - if you're hosting games you're talking around $350 million economic impact," said Reliant Park official David Tagliarino.

The delegation is set to arrive in Houston Thursday.
