HOUSTON—The FBI is searching for the man responsible for robbing a bank inside a grocery story on Saturday.

Around 11:55 a.m., a man walked into the First Convenience Bank inside the Kroger at 5150 Buffalo Speedway and handed a teller a note demanding money.

In the note, the suspect threatened to shoot the tellers if they did not provide him with cash. No weapon was immediately visible, but the man gestured that he was concealing one inside the front of his shirt near his waistband.

The teller gave the suspect some money before he walked out of the bank and grocery store. No one was injured.

Crime Stoppers is offering $5,000 for information leading to the arrest of this man. Anyone with information is asked to call the tip line at 713-222-8477 or the Houston office of the FBI at 713-693-5000.
