FBCSO: Shots fired into New Territory house overnight; suspects sought

FORT BEND COUNTY, Texas – Deputies on Thursday were looking for a suspect or suspects who shot up a house in the New Territory subdivision overnight.

Investigators said it happened around 1:45 a.m. on July 19, 2012, in the 200 block of Wilkins Crossing.

The homeowners told deputies someone shot into their master bedroom.

One of the homeowners was working in his home office at the time, and his wife was asleep in the master. They said they heard popping noises that sounded like fireworks, and later realized they were gunshots.

Neither was injured in the incident.

A cash reward of up to $5,000 is available for information leading to an arrest in this case.
