HOUSTON –Houston police are trying to determine who shot an elderly disabled man in southeast Houston late Tuesday.
Paramedics with the Houston Fire Department arrived to find the man lying on the side of the street on Lyndhurst at Sharondale around 11:30 p.m. He had been shot in the chest and his walker was near his body.
The man was transported to Ben Taub Hospital, where he later died.
Police have no motive or suspects at this time. Anyone with information is urged to call authorities.
