HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – The witness to an overnight auto-pedestrian accident said the driver got out of his vehicle and argued with the victim before pushing him down and speeding away.
It was around midnight Tuesday when the incident occurred on Forestburg Drive at Scotsbrook Drive in north Harris County.
According to deputies, an intoxicated man was walking down Forestburg when a pickup came along and struck him. The truck stopped, and the driver got out. A witness said the two started arguing and as the victim tried to stand back up, the driver shoved him down and got in his truck and sped away. The witness told deputies it appeared the suspect and the victim may know each other.
The pedestrian was sent to the hospital with a serious head wound.
