HOUSTON – An early morning crash involving a rolled minivan sent two people to the hospital after police said the driver fell asleep.
It happened around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday on Westpark Drive near Ace, according to the Houston Police Department.
Police said the driver, a 20-year-old woman, fell asleep and hit a curb. The van then struck a utility pole and flipped.
Both she and a male passenger were sent to the hospital in serious but stable condition.
