According to DPS investigators, the truck was traveling north on Whiporwill when it left the road for unknown reasons. The truck hit a culvert, went airborne, and then truck a tree. Troopers said the impact was so hard, it uprooted the tree, and the truck continued to move and hit another tree nearly 100 feet away.
