HOUSTON – A male driver died early Saturday after crashing his vehicle into a utility pole in north Houston, police said.
According to the Houston Police Department, the driver was traveling in an SUV around midnight heading north on North Main Street when he hit a curve in the road too fast. He lost control of his vehicle, which spun out and slammed into the pole in its side.
The driver was partially ejected from his SUV and died at the scene, police said.
