HOUSTON – Police said a driver was taken into custody after he ran his car into an HPD unit in southeast Houston late Thursday.
The crash happened around 10 p.m. on Broyles Street at Crane Street, according to the Houston Police Department.
Police said an officer was driving south on Broyles when a man driving a small Toyota sedan t-boned her at the intersection. The officer’s patrol car then hit a utility pole. She was sent to the hospital to get checked out.
The driver of the Toyota was taken into custody. It was unknown if he would face any charges.
