HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – Deputies say a driver was on the run overnight after rolling a sport utility vehicle in northeast Harris County.
The crash was reported around 10:30 p.m. Monday on Homestead Road near Mary Francis Street.
According to deputies, the SUV was heading southbound when the driver lost control and rolled into the northbound lanes. No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
When deputies arrived, the driver was already gone.
Homestead’s northbound lanes were closed for half an hour while the wreckage was cleared out of the way.
